We, PhotographLove decided to love you guys a lot more this year and have been brainstorming loads of new ideas to improve our group. Now what is 'Dose of Inspiration' you might ask. Simply read on and all shall be revealed.

Inspiration is not just something you can find out of a convenience store three blocks away from where you live. But us as artists need it as much as we need a cup of instant coffee while we pull an all-nighter or batteries for our camera when we're out on a photoshoot. It's not something easy to come by and so that is what I'm here for.

You could say I'm trying to sell you inspiration and ideas. Sell sounds like I'm working on a commercial, maybe exchange is the word I'm looking for. Yes, I'm trying to exchange with you inspiration and ideas for your precious time and perception. 

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS CHALLENGE? 

Every fortnight you shall be issued a prompt; an idea, and you are given 13 days to rise up to the challenge. Once submissions are closed, the 9 of the most intriguing perception of the prompt will be selected and given a journal feature on. They would be assessed on concept, originality and idea. On the same journal, we will give you a new prompt with another 13 days to complete it and so on. This will commence on the 6 of January 2013 and go for #26 Rounds.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME? 

As mentioned before, your photo will be featured on a journal as such. Is that not enough?? 
Okay if you insist on more, than cornerthemouse will give a critique on a deviation of your choice. Just note her with the thumb of your deviation and which round of Dose of Inspiration you were featured in. Plus if you're being nice, she'll give you a llama too.
And before you ask if that is it. Let me tell you a secret, we're planning on doing a little weekly Hunger Games type feature. So may the odds be ever in your favour. _{Disclaimer: The author of this article can tend to get a bit delusional, over-imaginative and can over-exaggerate at times. It would be best not to completely believe her.}

Let's set some ground rules here:

1. You need to mention the prompt and our group name in your artist comment section of the submission. Any submissions without the requirement will be declined automatically.  A simple For PhotographLove's Round 1 prompt will suffice.
2. You must submit your prompt submission into our Prompt folder. If you have submitted it somewhere else and it could be overlooked and we're not holding responsibility on that.
3. Do not steal, copy or use the work of another person as your own.
4. Only a maximum of ONE entry per deviant so choose wisely.
5. You can jump in and out of these prompts anytime you want!

What am I supposed to do with this prompt?

  Well, anything you want! Let your mind roll around in the possibilities; let it stew there for three nights! You don't have to take the prompt literally, it's a prompt! It guides you to find YOUR INSPIRATION. It would simply be judged with concept, originality and quality.
